Mexico City- Technological innovation now boost production like no other tool could do it before.
The processing of applications for work in the field provided a solution to most problems of rural areas: disconnection, what this means ensuring the entrepreneurs the right to access to essential and timely information that not only impacts their quality of life but also facilitates agricultural work.
Juan Sebastián Sandino, Digital Content Manager Ministry of ICT in Colombia said that these tools "will help people working in the field to be more productive in their processes: to have access to training, greater visibility of their products, consolidation of demand and direct contact with the customer ".
Managing a farm is now possible from a mobile device to almost 1.000 farmers who bet on telecommunications.
Currently working in dozens of applications for the agricultural sector mostly by MinTIC, although the unions and some organizations focus on their own prototypes.
Today there are five applications ready for use, because they have already been tested; some others are still in prototype stage so download is not available.
The applications are:
- Management Admigan- Sales from Comproagro
- Kanpo supports the bpa
- Agroclimate Alerts
- Doubts agri
- Gesagro for farms
They all benefit industry and optimizing processes, besides becoming tools to improve production and render more economical distribution.
